Synopsis:

When Prince Charming comes looking for the woman who stole his heart at a Manhattan shoe store, he instead finds her stepsister, Allie. Allie doesn’t leave the best impression with the handsome Zach Brady, who quickly dismisses her as the maid. But an unusual fairy godmother with bulging biceps, long hair, and a cool demeanor has plans for her. Can Allie keep herself from falling for the wrong man and convince him to help her snag Zach? This duo quickly learns that sometimes if the shoe fits, the pair could be all wrong.

My Review:

Inconceivable is a nice twist on a Cinderella fairy tale story, but it is filled with much more. Allie hasn't had it easy, and at the start of the story, she's pretty much at her lowest, alone and struggling. But things start turning around when she meets her fairy godmother, who wants to gear her towards happiness. Only the things Allie things she wants or need to be happy might just be wrong.  As she goes through day to day working towards a goal, Allie begins to realize that maybe she's been looking at the situation all wrong.

Inconceivable is about finding yourself and discovering your purpose as much as it is about romance and finding the right one.  It's about looking at all sides of a situation and coming out on top.  Allie made some bad decisions and struggled with feelings of unimportance, but as she grew and changed, she learned not only about herself, but the kind of person she wanted to be.

This was an enjoyable story packed with important life lessons spun into an almost fairy tale.  I give it 3.5 stars.
